Residential Treatment Services

Recovery is possible! Let us know how we can help you, your loved one, or your community.

A Sober Living Environment For Recovery

The Recovery Center of Maryland’s residential treatment program provides an environment that is safe, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused designed to integrate the person served back into the community and living independently whenever possible.

We holistically assess each individual based on the dimensions below to help determine which program and services will be most effective on their recovery journey.

Individuals will reside in the recovery home for the duration of services and all programming will be provided in the recovery home unless there is an off-site activity. Residential treatment is provided in partnership with individuals and seeks to address the desires, goals, strengths, abilities, needs, health, safety, and lifespan issues of the persons served, regardless of the home in which they live and/or the scope, duration, and intensity of the services they receive.

Our programs and services are focused on providing sober living environments to increase the likelihood of sobriety and abstinence and to decrease the potential for relapse. To be eligible for services individuals must be 18 or older, have a substance use disorder, meet ASAM criteria for 3.5, 3.3, and 2.1 level of care, and have a desire for change. At the time of admission, a risk assessment is completed for each person served.

Residential treatment provides interim support and services for persons who are at risk of institutional placement, persons transitioning from institutional settings, or persons who are homeless.

Residential treatment is typically provided for 30-90 days.
